‘Rah-e-Rast’ in progress, Shangla, Swat, Lower Dir curfew eased

SWAT: Operation ‘Rah-e-Rast’ against the militants in Malakand Division continued unabated, while in different areas of Shangla, Swat and Lower Dir curfew will remain relaxed today also. Military sources told that the security forces heavy guns kept shelling overnight the militants’ hideouts in different areas of Lower Dir including the upper areas of Swat’s Tehsil Kabal, but no loss of life was reported immediately.Dir media centre said that curfew would remain relaxed from 6.00 A.M. in the morning to 8.00 P.M. in the evening at Tehsil Maidan and Adeenzai, while Swat media centre announced a curfew break from 9.00 A.M. in the morning to 6.00 P.M. in the evening in Swat areas of Khawazakhela, Madin, Dareeshkhela and Bedra including district Shangla.
